Plant Oils & Butters

Olive Oil

Olive oil offers deep moisturization and is valued for its antioxidant properties, which may help protect against free radicals and premature aging. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with polyphenols and squalene, it may aid in hydrating the skin, offering protection from environmental damage, and supporting the repair of damaged skin tissues. It is the ingredient that we use most in our recipes.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is known for its high antioxidant content, including vitamins A and E, which may contribute to protecting the skin from environmental damage. Its fatty acids are recognized for providing deep moisturization, potentially strengthening the skin barrier and soothing irritation.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is known for its deep moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties, supported by antioxidants that may protect the skin. Rich in vitamins A and E, and essential fatty acids like oleic acid, it may nourish the skin, strengthen the skin barrier, and promote collagen synthesis, potentially aiding wound healing and reducing wrinkle appearance, making it a candidate for conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is valued for its moisturizing effects on dry skin and its support for the skin’s barrier function, thanks to fatty acids like lauric acid, which may also provide antimicrobial properties. It may help reduce inflammation, soothe irritation, and support wound healing.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is appreciated for its antioxidant and emollient properties, featuring high levels of linoleic acid and vitamin E, which may help deeply moisturize the skin, strengthen its natural barrier, soothe irritation, and protect against premature aging caused by environmental factors.

Mango Butter

Mango butter is recognized for its ability to moisturize dry skin and create a protective barrier, potentially soothing inflammation and irritation, such as from eczema. With antioxidants and fatty acids, it may support skin regeneration, offer mild UV protection, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while its non-comedogenic nature makes it suitable for acne-prone skin without clogging pores.

Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is noted for its deep hydrating properties, attributed to healthy fats that may soothe irritation and reduce signs of aging by supporting collagen production and protecting against free radical damage. Containing vitamins C and E, copper, and fatty acids like lauric acid, it may nourish the skin, enhance elasticity, and promote a radiant appearance.

Castor Oil

Castor oil acts as a natural moisturizer due to its ricinoleic acid content, which may help retain moisture in the skin. Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties may assist in reducing acne, decreasing puffiness, and soothing sunburn irritation, while antioxidants could support healthier skin tissue development and combat signs of aging.

Clays & Botanical Extracts

We carefully select natural clays and botanical extracts, harnessing the earth’s finest elements to enhance our soaps’ cleansing and soothing potential.

Kaolin clay, pink clay, bentonite clay, and activated charcoal are known for absorbing excess oil and impurities, potentially cleansing the skin—kaolin may suit sensitive skin, pink clay may improve texture, bentonite may detoxify oily skin, and activated charcoal may draw out toxins. Indigo powder, turmeric extract, green tea extract, and chamomile extract may offer natural benefits—indigo may balance skin tone, turmeric may soothe irritation, green tea may provide antioxidant protection, and chamomile may calm redness.
